About the Role
In this role, you will lead end-to-end marketing for a portfolio of exhibitions and events, shaping strategies that grow audiences and strengthen brand visibility across key regional and international markets. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to plan, execute, and optimise cross-channel campaigns. A key focus will be audience acquisition within Lusophone markets, where your native-level Portuguese skills will be essential. You will also analyse campaign performance, translate insights into action, and support on-the-ground marketing activities during live events to ensure a seamless, high-quality visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies for exhibitions and events to drive visitor acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Plan and manage integrated cross-channel campaigns (digital, social, email, web, print, and partnerships), ensuring consistent and on-brand messaging.
- Lead audience acquisition initiatives for Lusophone markets, creating Portuguese-language content and campaigns tailored to local nuances and behaviours.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to brief, coordinate, and quality-check all marketing deliverables and timelines.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using analytics and reporting tools, recommending optimisation tactics based on data and insights.
- Support on-site marketing activities during exhibitions, including branding, visitor communications, and lead-generation or data-capture initiatives.
- Stay current on exhibition, events, and digital marketing trends to continuously elevate campaign impact and audience experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on marketing experience, with a strong track record in exhibitions, events, or similar campaign-led environments.
- Proven expertise in exhibition marketing, campaign management, audience acquisition, and cross-channel strategy across regional and/or international markets.
- Native-level or fluent Portuguese, with the ability to create and review marketing content for Lusophone markets; strong English communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating with agencies and partners, managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in campaign analytics, reporting, and data-driven optimisation, combined with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Certifications (Desirable)
- Relevant marketing or digital marketing certifications from recognised bodies (e.g., CIM, Digital Marketing, etc.).
- Certifications in analytics, marketing automation, or CRM platforms (advantageous but not mandatory).
Salary & Role Details
- Salary / Compensation: Approximately AED 22,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
- Location: Dubai, UAE (work arrangement and on-site presence to be confirmed during the hiring process).
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position.
- Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time hours, with flexibility required around exhibition periods and event days as needed for on-site support.
