About the Role

In this role, you will lead multi-market social media accounts, owning the strategic direction, creative quality, and performance outcomes for a portfolio of key clients. You will guide cross-functional teams – including strategy, creative, content, and media – to deliver platform-native ideas that resonate with audiences and achieve measurable results. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will strengthen client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and champion best-in-class social thinking. • Manage and mentor cross-functional teams (strategy, creative, community, media, analytics) to deliver integrated, high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • Act as senior client partner, leading key presentations, QBRs, and workshops while nurturing long-term, trusted relationships at C-level and senior marketing level.
  • Own account financials, including budget setting, forecasting, and profitability management, ensuring commercial health of the accounts under your remit.
  • Set clear KPIs for campaigns and always-on activity, working with analytics teams to review performance, optimise in-flight, and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ensure governance of processes and workflows across markets to deliver consistent standards, efficient operations, and seamless execution across all social touchpoints.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities, upsell new services, and support new business pitches in collaboration with the wider agency leadership team.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, social trends, and digital innovations, inspiring clients and internal teams with forward-thinking ideas and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (Bs Marketing preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing or digital communications, with significant time spent in social media and agency environments.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale social media strategies and digital campaigns for major brands, ideally across multiple markets.
  • Strong client servicing background, with experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and driving long-term client growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, content formats, and performance metrics, with a data-informed and KPI-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving ability.
