About the Role

In this role, you will serve as a Freelance Creative Director for leading government and enterprise clients, with a core focus on Abu Dhabi and Dubai. You will own the long-term brand vision, guiding campaign ideation and creative direction to ensure alignment with public-sector priorities and audience expectations. Working closely with strategy, account management, and content teams, you will champion bold, thoughtful ideas that balance creativity with influence and impact. You will also safeguard the quality of all creative outputs, from concept to execution, ensuring consistency, clarity, and relevance across every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Drive creative excellence across integrated campaigns for government and enterprise clients in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
  • Own and articulate long-term brand vision, ensuring all creative work ladders up to clear strategic objectives and public-sector needs.
  • Lead campaign ideation, from insight and platform development through to concepts, storytelling, and key visual territories.
  • Collaborate with strategy, account, and content teams to translate complex government briefs into impactful, audience-relevant campaigns.
  • Review and refine all creative deliverables to maintain high standards of craft, clarity, and consistency across channels.
  • Present creative directions and campaign territories to senior stakeholders, confidently defending ideas and incorporating feedback.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to designers, writers, and other creatives involved in project execution (where applicable).

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within marketing, advertising, or related fields.
  • Strong credentials working with government and enterprise clients, particularly in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
  • Deep experience in developing and steering long-term creative strategies and brand platforms.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling concepts and integrated campaign ideas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a confident and collaborative approach.

Certifications (Desirable)

  • Relevant certifications in creative leadership, brand strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Any recognized qualification in project or account management within creative industries.

Salary & Role Details

  • Salary / Compensation: AED 20,000–30,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (servicing clients across Abu Dhabi and Dubai; specific work arrangement to be discussed during the process).
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Freelance/Contract basis.
  • Working Conditions / Schedule: Full-time commitment; project timelines, on-site requirements, and flexibility will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
