About the Role

In this role, you will support the Group’s end-to-end planning, budgeting, and performance management processes for a dynamic event services portfolio. You will help prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial plans, ensuring they are robust, timely, and aligned with strategic and operational priorities. Partnering with business unit leaders and senior stakeholders, you will develop financial models, dashboards, and variance analysis that translate numbers into clear, actionable insights. You will also play a key role in maintaining data integrity, consistency of assumptions, and strong financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Support the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial plans across multiple business units within the Group.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reports to monitor performance and track key KPIs.
  • Prepare regular variance analysis, highlighting key drivers of performance versus budget and forecast, with clear commentary and recommendations.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of assumptions, data integrity, and adherence to planning and reporting timelines.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, commercial, and senior leadership teams to provide actionable financial insights that enhance decision-making.
  • Support monthly and quarterly performance reviews, assisting in the preparation of management reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, tools, and systems within the Finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • This position is open to UAE Nationals only.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred (or a closely related field).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, ideally within a corporate or group environment.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel or similar analytical tools.
  • Proven ability to interpret financial data, prepare clear analysis, and communicate insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.

Certifications (Desirable)

  • Professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA (or working towards one) are an advantage.
  • Any additional training in financial modeling, data analytics, or budgeting tools is considered a plus.

Salary & Role Details

  • Salary / Compensation: AED 27,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site/hybrid details to be discussed during the interview process).
  • Employment Type: Full-time.
  • Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time schedule; specific working hours, peak periods, and flexibility requirements will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
