About the Role

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of banking clients, responsible for deepening relationships, understanding their needs, and driving sales across relevant products and services. You will proactively identify opportunities to grow balances, revenues, and product penetration while ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction. Working closely with internal product, credit, and operations teams, you will help structure solutions that are both commercially sound and aligned with bank policies. You will also play a key role in acquiring new clients, developing the pipeline, and contributing to the overall sales targets of the business.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Manage and grow a designated portfolio of banking clients, acting as their primary relationship contact.
  • Drive sales of banking products and services by identifying client needs and cross-selling appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to assess satisfaction, understand future requirements, and retain key relationships.
  • Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and targeted business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (credit, operations, product teams) to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, manage risks within set parameters, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular sales and relationship updates, including pipeline and activity reports, to management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on relationship management and sales.
  • Proven track record in managing client portfolios and achieving sales and revenue targets within the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of core banking products and services, and ability to match them to client needs.
  • Excellent client relationship, communication, and negotiation skills with a customer-centric and results-driven approach.

Certifications (Desirable)

  • Professional banking, sales, or relationship management certifications are an advantage.
  • Any additional training in credit, financial planning, or wealth management is beneficial.

Salary & Role Details

  • Salary / Compensation: AED 20,000–25,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site/hybrid details to be discussed during the interview process).
  • Employment Type: Full-time.
  • Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time schedule; flexibility may be required for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Other Details: Role focused on banking sales, client relationship management, and portfolio growth within a competitive market environment.
