About the Role
In this role, you will focus on selling freight and logistics services to a mix of new and existing customers. You will identify prospects, understand their shipping needs, and propose tailored freight solutions that are commercially attractive and operationally sound. Working closely with operations and customer service teams, you will ensure that commitments made to clients are delivered seamlessly. You will also build a solid sales pipeline, track performance against targets, and represent the company as a trusted partner in the freight and logistics space.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Generate new business opportunities for freight and logistics services through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts by understanding their freight requirements and providing responsive, reliable support.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations, negotiating rates and terms in line with company guidelines and margin expectations.
- Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and a positive client experience.
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, activity log, and customer database, providing regular updates and reports on performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in freight sales or a closely related role within logistics/shipping.
- Prior freight experience with a solid understanding of core logistics and shipping concepts.
- Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships and work towards defined sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Certifications (Desirable)
- Any certifications or training in logistics, freight forwarding, or sales are an advantage.
- Additional courses in customer relationship management or negotiation skills are beneficial.
Salary & Role Details

Salary / Compensation: AED 8,000–10,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (work arrangement to be discussed during the interview process).
