About the Role

In this role, you will act as the primary contact for a portfolio of banking clients, responsible for understanding their needs, offering tailored financial solutions, and delivering high-quality service at every touchpoint. You will drive sales across core banking products and services, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, and ensure that portfolio growth and profitability targets are met. Working closely with product, credit, and operations teams, you will help structure suitable solutions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations. This role is ideal for a banking professional with 6+ years of experience who thrives in a relationship-driven, performance-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of banking clients, acting as their main relationship contact and trusted advisor.
  • Drive sales of banking products and services by identifying client needs and providing appropriate financial solutions.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to assess satisfaction, understand future requirements, and identify growth opportunities within the portfolio.
  • Prospect and onboard new clients through targeted business development, networking, and referrals, contributing to overall portfolio growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (credit, operations, product teams) to ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and ongoing service delivery for clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, manage risk within approved parameters, and ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and updates on client activity, pipeline, and revenue performance for management review.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on relationship management and sales.
  • Proven track record in managing client portfolios and meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets in a banking environment.
  • Solid understanding of core banking products and services and the ability to match them effectively to client needs and risk profiles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-centric and results-driven mindset.

Certifications (Desirable)

  • Professional certifications in banking, sales, or relationship management are an advantage.
  • Any additional training in credit analysis, financial planning, or wealth management is beneficial.

Salary & Role Details

  • Salary / Compensation: AED 40,000–43,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site/hybrid details to be discussed during the interview process).
  • Employment Type: Full-time.
  • Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time schedule; flexibility may be required for client meetings, events, and business development activities.
  • Other Details: Role focused on banking sales, client relationship management, and portfolio growth within a competitive market environment.
