About the Role
In this role, you will support the licensing and supervision function for a portfolio of entities, with a particular focus on virtual asset businesses operating within free zone structures. You will review and evaluate license applications, manage the full licensing application process, and ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations. You will also contribute to the enhancement of frameworks related to licensing and supervision, helping to maintain a robust and transparent regulatory environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external applicants, you will provide guidance, clarity, and high-quality service while upholding strong standards of governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Review and evaluate license applications, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Manage the end-to-end licensing application process for a portfolio of entities, including virtual asset businesses, from initial submission through to decision and issuance.
- Liaise with applicants and their representatives to clarify requirements, request additional information, and provide status updates on applications.
- Contribute to the enhancement and development of frameworks, policies, and procedures relating to licensing and supervision activities.
- Collaborate with supervision, legal, compliance, and other internal teams to ensure consistent interpretation and application of licensing standards.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for all applications within your portfolio, supporting transparency and audit readiness.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the licensing function and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency and stakeholder experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- This position is open to UAE Nationals only.
- Education is flexible; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
- 2–10 years of professional experience, ideally within licensing, regulatory, compliance, or related functions.
- Must have a background working with free zone entities, with a solid understanding of free zone structures and licensing requirements.
- Familiarity or interest in virtual assets, financial services, or emerging regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, documentation review, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and guidelines consistently.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with a professional, service-oriented approach.
Certifications (Desirable)
- Professional certifications in compliance, regulation, or governance (e.g., ICA, CAMS, or similar) are an advantage.
- Any additional training related to free zone regulations, virtual assets, or supervisory frameworks is beneficial.
Salary & Role Details

Salary / Compensation: AED 27,000 per month.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (work arrangement to be discussed during the interview process).
