About the Role
In this role, you will serve as a Senior Procurement Engineer within the Oil & Gas sector, responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that support complex construction, maintenance, and supply activities. You will lead sourcing and contracting for critical materials and services, working closely with engineering, projects, and finance teams to align procurement decisions with technical and commercial requirements. A key part of your role will be managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery across the portfolio. You will also take ownership of contract drafting, review, negotiation, and ongoing management to protect the organisation’s interests and drive long-term value.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support project, maintenance, and operational needs within the Oil & Gas business.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
- Lead contract negotiation and management processes to secure favourable commercial and contractual terms for the organisation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for procurement activities, including but not limited to construction, maintenance, and supply agreements.
- Manage purchase contracts and contractual agreements throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and legal requirements.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, projects, and finance teams to align technical specifications, budgets, and delivery schedules with procurement plans.
- Monitor supplier performance, address non-conformance issues, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service levels.
Qualifications & Experience
- This position is open to UAE Nationals only.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and purchase management, ideally within the Oil & Gas or heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong background in purchase contracts, contract management, contractual agreements, and procurement management.
- Proven skills in contract negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing strategies for technical materials and services.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
Certifications (Desirable)
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).
- Any additional training in contract law, contract management, or Oil & Gas procurement is an advantage.
Salary & Role Details

Salary / Compensation: AED 45,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site/hybrid work arrangement to be discussed during the interview process).
