About the Role

In this role, you will serve as a Senior FM Estimator responsible for conducting technical and commercial site visits during tender processes and translating your findings into robust cost build-ups and pricing submissions. You will prepare detailed BOQs, pricing schedules, and tender documentation across FM maintenance, fit-out, retrofit, industrial installations, and minor works. Working closely with operations, engineering, and commercial teams, you will ensure that estimates are realistic, competitive, and aligned with scope, standards, and client expectations. You will play a key part in supporting bid decisions and helping the business secure work that is both deliverable and commercially sound.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Conduct technical and commercial site visits during tender processes for FM maintenance, fit-out, retrofit, industrial installations, and minor works.
• Produce accurate cost build-ups, BOQs, and pricing schedules in line with project scope, specifications, and client requirements.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to identify quantities, resource needs, and cost drivers for FM and project works.
• Liaise with operations, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to obtain quotations, validate assumptions, and ensure realistic pricing inputs.
• Prepare tender clarifications, technical/commercial queries, and supporting documentation for bid submissions and presentations.
• Support value engineering and alternative proposals that improve competitiveness while maintaining compliance and service levels.
• Maintain accurate estimating databases, rates, and historical cost information to improve consistency and accuracy over time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of estimating/QS experience in FM, fit-out/retrofit, industrial installations, and minor works (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of FM maintenance scopes, project workflows, and cost drivers across multi-discipline services and trades.
• Proficiency in preparing BOQs, cost build-ups, and pricing schedules, with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site conditions and translate them into practical, commercial estimates.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a tender/bid environment.

Certifications (Desirable)

• Professional qualifications in quantity surveying, estimating, or facilities management.
• Any additional training in project costing, estimating software, or FM standards is an advantage.

Salary & Role Details

• Salary / Compensation: AED 12,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site/field-based work arrangement to be discussed during the interview process).
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time schedule; flexibility may be required for site visits, tender deadlines, and client meetings.
