About the Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of interactive technologies and digital experiences across a portfolio of live events. You will be involved in application development, content integration, and technical setup, ensuring that all interactive elements perform reliably on-site. Working closely with creative, production, and client teams, you will manage on-site configurations, troubleshoot issues in real time, and help translate creative ideas into working solutions. Ensuring smooth operations, strong communication, and client satisfaction throughout each project is at the core of this position.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Deliver interactive technologies for events, including on-site setup, configuration, and live operation of digital and experiential installations.
• Develop and customise applications, tools, and interfaces using technologies such as Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, ASP.NET, and SQL as required by project briefs.
• Integrate multimedia content into interactive platforms, ensuring compatibility, performance, and a smooth user experience across devices and environments.
• Manage on-site technical setups during events, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues to minimise downtime and disruption.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and ensure expectations are clearly managed and met.
• Use tools such as Cisco Packet Tracer, data analytics platforms, and Google Analytics to test, monitor, and report on system performance and user interactions where relevant.
• Document configurations, workflows, and technical learnings to support knowledge sharing, repeatability, and continuous improvement of event technology delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Open to UAE Nationals only, with a strong interest in creative technology and live events.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• 1+ year of experience in a technical, software, or digital role, ideally involving interactive experiences, events, or media environments.
• Practical knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, ASP.NET, and SQL, with the ability to support application development and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with networking and system simulation tools (e.g., Cisco Packet Tracer) and comfort working with data analytics and Google Analytics is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve technical issues quickly during live events.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.

Certifications (Desirable)

• Certifications or courses in web development, software engineering, or interactive media.
• Training in data analytics, Google Analytics, or networking technologies is a plus.

Salary & Role Details

• Salary / Compensation: AED 20,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site/event-based work; specific arrangements to be discussed during the interview process).
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time hours, with flexibility required around event dates, setup times, and live activations (including occasional evenings and weekends).
• Other Details: Role sits within the event services and creative technology function, with a focus on interactive technologies, application development, content integration, and on-site client support for live events.
