About the Role

In this role, you will work as a Field Service Technician supporting heavy vehicles across customer sites and on the road. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, attending breakdowns and ensuring vehicles are returned to service quickly and safely. You will carry out routine and corrective maintenance, coordinate closely with the workshop and service team, and maintain accurate records of all work performed. Operating in a fast-paced, field-based environment, you will be a key technical contact for customers, representing the brand and ensuring high standards of service and reliability.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Attend vehicle breakdowns and field service calls for heavy vehicles, carrying out on-site diagnosis and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and repair methods.
• Coordinate with the service/workshop team to arrange parts, escalate complex issues, and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records accurately, ensuring proper documentation of all field activities.
• Adhere strictly to HSE procedures while working on-site and on public roads, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• Build positive relationships with customers, providing clear updates on work status and promoting a professional brand image.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITI or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience as a mechanic working with heavy vehicles, including breakdowns and field service assignments (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Strong hands-on skills in mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of heavy vehicles and related systems.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence, with confidence driving to customer sites and attending roadside breakdowns.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and respond quickly to urgent service requests.

Certifications (Desirable)

• OEM or dealership training on heavy vehicles or commercial vehicles.
• Any additional certifications in automotive diagnostics, hydraulics, or HSE practices are an advantage.

Salary & Role Details

• Salary / Compensation: AED 4,000–5,000 per month, depending on experience and profile.
• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (field-based role; exact working areas to be discussed during the interview process).
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Working Conditions / Schedule: Standard full-time schedule with flexibility required for breakdowns, emergency call-outs, and occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.
